Denso Paste™ 25kg Metal Pail is a petrolatum based paste for the preparation of metal surfaces, particularly prior to the application of Denso petrolatum tapes. This soft paste consists of moisture displacing and corrosion inhibiting compounds for application by stiff brush or gloved hand at normal ambient temperatures. It does not dry, harden or crack, and is used for the preparation of metal surfaces prior to the application of Denso petrolatum tapes. It can also be used as a rust preventative for screw threads, valve spindles, wire ropes and more; as temporary protection on exposed metal; or as a sealing compound for bedding rigid thermal insulation sections. More information on this product is available on the Denso website Denso Paste™ 25kg Technical Information Composition Denso Paste is a soft petrolatum containing corrosion inhibiting, moisture displacing and flow control additives. Denso Paste does not contain any volatile organic material. Uses Denso Paste is used to prepare surfaces prior to application of Denso Tape. It is also used as a: rust preventative for screw threads, valve spindles, wire ropes, etc, temporary rust preventative for exposed metal, and sealing compound for bedding rigid thermal insulation sections. Service temperature: -30° to 55°C Characteristics Denso Paste: contains no VOC, requires no special tools for application, does not dry, harden or crack, displaces moisture, and has a variety of uses. Surface Preparation See Instructions for Use for additional detail. Surfaces must be clean and dry. Remove all loose, rust, scale and flaking coatings by scraping, wire brushing or blast cleaning. Apply Denso Paste or Denso Priming Solution. Application Apply Denso Paste to surfaces with a stiff brush or gloved hand at normal ambient temperatures.
