LUCKY CRAFT Topwater Floating Walk The Dog Lure SUPER SAMMY 126 Bone Shad Ever since Takahiro Omori won the Bassmaster Elite event at Lake Wheeler, we have been hard at work trying to design the best top water bait that will bring many more trophies to our Pro Team. The larger profile of the Super Sammy displaces a lot of water with its walk-the-dog action. The constant side-to-side twitch draws fish from a greater distance to generate more strikes. We spent an intensive 3 days with Takahiro at Lake Fork testing the Super Sammy prototype. It was already an early summer pattern, with all of the big fish down at about 20ft. Takahiro knew that this would play a factor in trying to entice those bigger fish to come up shallow. He was adamant he could get them to bite though, and after some persistence, he finally caught a very memorial 10lb bass.
